Yesterday, for our last visit we went to White Sposa. We met with Simona and she shared with us the history of the magazine, and what the magazine is like today. Simona is the editor of the magazine and helped build the company with her mother over 10 years ago. There are so many important things that go into the making of a magazine and so many roles and skills needed. I was definitely shocked when Simona told us only three people work for the magazine. That shows how proficient and qualified her staff is. After hearing Simona talk about her staff it was inspiring to me to become the type of person, who has a keen eye for detail. This brought to my attention how precise I must be if I were to ever work in a small company. I am a very analytical person who pays close attention to details, and if I were to ever work for a small company, like White Sposa, I would have to become one of the best of the best. Once I enter the fashion industry this visit will help me relate back to White Sposa, and reminisce on all the hard work they puts into the magazine that is distributed three times a year, May, September and December. I enjoyed every minute of this visit and it was definitely one of my favorite!
